Beloved QC Taco Joint Closing It’s Doors Today

One of the QC's favorite spots to get tacos will not be open anymore after Friday, January 23rd, according to a Facebook post from the restaurant.

Los Primos Mexican Grill has been at their location on the corner of Locust and Bridge for twelve years, and according to a Facebook post, this is their last day.

"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to our loyal customers, friends, family and community in Davenport," the restaurant's post reads. "Your support, smiles, and shared meals have meant more to us than words can express. It has truly been an honor to serve you and be a part of your lives for so many years."

The post says Friday is the last day for the restaurant, but has now been removed - those in Facebook discussion groups say the restaurant was swamped with customers once the news of the closing broke and were reportedly running out of ingredients quicker than expected.

It isn't made clear why the restaurant is closing, but the comments on the post are those of heartbreak.

"This I won't be able to move on from," one commenter wrote.

"This is just awful." Another said.
