I'll admit it. I'm a Yellowstone fan. Like many of you, I got sucked into the dealings of the Dutton family. The epic Kevin Costner Modern Western hooked many of us living in the Midwest and beyond, not only with storylines but with the beautiful scenery. Like John Dutton, we too wanted to fight to keep that land! How many of you have dreamt of taking a horseback ride through meadows and pastures alongside mountains like the ones in Yellowstone? Well, if you're a dreamer like me, why not fantasize some more about your very own Montana ranch?

If your newsfeed is anything like mine, you have the occasional real estate property pop up from time to time. Who doesn't love to dream about living in an amazing home that may or may not be slightly out of your price range? But the property at 7980 Walker Road in Bozeman, Montana is something much different. It isn't just a dream home, it is a whole different world. The property is being listed by PureWest Real Estate, who was kind enough to take the time and send me some exclusive pictures of the property. Before I blow your mind with those, here are some of the highlights of Running Elk Ranch.

  • Over 1900 block acres
  • Near Gallatin National Forest
  • Mixed terrain of Aspen meadows and Alpine timber.
  • Mizer Creek leads to five ponds on the property.
  • A herd of elk roam the property.
  • Main home, guest house, caretaker house, and an equipment shop
  • Huge indoor equine center
  • Trap/skeet range and a 1000-yard gun range.
  • 10 miles of roads and trails.

It sounds like a lot because it is. Do you want to live like a Dutton? This ranch has everything except Rip Wheeler. Check out some of the amazing images of the property courtesy of PureWest Real Estate in Bozeman.

I just can't get over the natural beauty of this part of the country. It's hard to put a price tag on a place like Running Elk Ranch. But in the world of real estate, there is always a price tag. And this dream like Montana Ranch will set you back over $78 million.

Most of us won't be saddling up and purchasing a ranch in Montana anytime soon. But it sure is fun to dream.
