A New Vintage & Consignment Shop Has Opened in Cedar Rapids
A new store opened its doors in NE Cedar Rapids this month! West End Vintage Trading Post & Consignment officially began welcoming customers and sellers on September 1st.
About West End Vintage
West End Vintage is located in the strip of buildings 609 Center Point Rd NE in Cedar Rapids, right next to Raging Ryno's and North Point. It's a thrift/consignment shop that sells a variety of vintage and antique items. An early Facebook review from another local resale shop says that the new store has a "well thought out selection."
How to Sell
If you have items that you'd like to sell at West End Vintage, there are a couple of different ways to go about it. There's the option of selling items on consignment, or you can become a vendor.
If you choose the consignment option, you can either drop-off your items at the store, or schedule a pick-up (for a $25 fee). There is a 30% consignment fee.
To become a vendor, you can reserve a space by calling 319-640-4426. There is a booth fee, as well as some additional costs involved, which you can read about below.
Some of the items that West End Vintage will accept include jewelry, art, signs, dishes, appliances, furniture, and antiques. They do NOT accept clothing or mattresses.
Store Hours
According to their Facebook page, West End Vintage is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. For the latest information, you can follow their page HERE.
