Where to Get Free Meals in the Corridor for Veterans Day 2024

Attention all Veterans! Monday, November 11th is Veterans Day, and there are a TON of restaurants offering free food in honor of the holiday!

Let's start with Hy-Vee! On Monday, November 11th from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., all Veterans and active-duty military members can enjoy a free breakfast at area locations. In addition to the meal, they will also receive 15% off grocery purchases all day. Here are the participating locations here in the Corridor:

In addition to the event at Hy-Vee, Metro Harley-Davidson Suzuki Can-Am in Cedar Rapids is hosting a free pancake breakfast for all military members and their families on Saturday, November 9th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Non-military are welcome to eat for a free-will donation.

  • "Veterans and active duty servicemembers can receive a free meal voucher from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. [on Monday, November 11th]. These are redeemable for dine-in or carry out meal off a select menu through May 2025. Bring your valid military ID or proof of service to participate."
