Iowa Lottery Winner Finally Gets to Upgrade His Vehicle!
Daniel Bragg was in need of a new truck. Fortunately for him, he hit it big with the Iowa Lottery and now his new vehicle dreams can finally come true!
According to the Iowa Lottery, Bragg drove his 2001 Chevy Suburban to lottery headquarters in a snowstorm to claim his big prize. The truck, which can only be described as a beater, has over 800,000 miles on it. But Bragg can afford to upgrade after winning $150,000 playing a scratch game from the Iowa Lottery!
Bragg won the top prize playing the 'Money Gift' scratch game according to lottery officials. He bought his winning ticket at the Fareway store in Newton. He purchased his ticket on New Year's Eve and hit the top prize of $150,000. What a way to start the new year! The Iowa Lottery reports that when Bragg realized how much he had won, he said, "I've got to get a car!"
While Bragg says that he is excited to get a new truck, he told the Iowa Lottery that parting with his old truck will be bittersweet. Bragg stated that his old suburban can "pull anything. They said they built these like a tank, and yeah, it's a tank!"
Bragg says that he plans on purchasing a smaller pickup with his Iowa Lottery winnings. I'd say that the old suburban got you more than far enough!
