Jones County, Iowa is home to one of the most unique and creative attractions that we've ever seen! Located in Anamosa near Wapsipinicon State Parkn*Everland Barnyard offers visitors a one-of-a-kind experience.

According to the listing on Hipcamp, n*Everland Barnyard is not a commercial campground, but a serene escape from the outside world. It's basically a work of art! It's described on Hipcamp as, "an eccentric art installation space created from found, recycled, and repurposed building materials." n*Everland Barnyard was created by Bob Kellogg and is meant to inspire "endless creativity." It's definitely one of a kind!

n*Everland Barnyard sometimes allows for camping via tents, pop-up campers, class B RVs, cars, and campervans, but only on specific dates. The Hipcamp listing says:

"We do not have graveled sites, so we try to limit the size of the campers/RVs that we allow so our land does not get chewed up from excess weight. If you really want to stay and have a big rig, feel free to contact us, if we have site #1 available that night, we can probably accommodate you."

It's also important to note that the sites don't offer water, electrical, or sewer hook-ups, and generators are not allowed. That's just not the vibe of the space. It is meant to be an escape into nature "to disconnect from the world, find presence, and live in the Now." The site not child-friendly, but they do make exceptions for well-behaved older children. You can bring your dog, though!
