Mercy Medical Center's Birthplace saw plenty of new faces in 2025. According to a press release, there were some names that proved to be more popular than others this past year. For girls, the three most popular names in 2025 were;

1. Wrenley
2. Olivia
3. Evelyn

The top three boys' names for 2025 were;

1. Liam
2. Theodore
3. (tie) Cooper, Oliver, Tate

Most Popular Baby Names in the United States

According to BabyCenter, the most popular names for girls nationwide include Olivia, Amelia, and Sophia. For the boys, the top names included Noah, Liam, and Oliver.

As for new names that are trending this year, two new girls' names are in the top ten: Eliana and Aurora. For boys, the name Luca rejoined the top ten according to BabyCenter.
