A Popular NewBo City Market Vendor is Moving to Marion
One of my favorite local vendors at NewBo City Market will be getting a new home this spring! Cedar Witch Goods is moving from Cedar Rapids to Uptown Marion!
About Cedar Witch Goods
Cedar Witch Goods is a small, local business owned by Katie Adams, who was named the 2024 Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year by NewBo City Market. The shop offers a wide variety of "witchy bath products and whimsical giftables," with many of the bath products made by Katie herself! The website says that the business "was born from a desire to use fewer toxic ingredients in [her] day-to-day routine." The list of homemade products at Cedar Witch Goods includes body lotions, lip balm, bug repellent, soaps, wax melts, perfume oils, and more. The shop also sells t-shirts, accessories, greeting cards, stickers, home decor, incense, tea, and more.
The New Location
According to a Facebook announcement from GLD Commercial, Cedar Witch Goods will be taking over the building at 945 6th Ave in Marion, the former home of The Kettel House & Cocoa Confectionary Company. Cedar Witch Goods shared the post, writing in the caption:
"The cat is officially out of the bag! I'm hoping to be open at the new address on May 30!"
In addition to the shop moving to Marion, owner Katie also noted that all of her production will be done at the new location, too!
In the meantime, Cedar Witch Goods will continues operations at NewBo City Market, but you can also shop their products on their online store HERE. Check out the latest updates on the new Marion location by following the business on Facebook HERE or Instagram HERE!
