Who Has the Best Burgers in Eastern Iowa? Iowans Weigh In [GALLERY]

We know the "official" best burger winner in the state of Iowa this year, but which restaurants here in Eastern Iowa deserve a little love?

On May 1st, the Iowa Beef Industry Council and the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association announced the 2026 winner for Iowa's Best Burger Competition. In case you missed it, this year's champion was Dixie's Biergarten in Decorah, a favorite in Eastern Iowa! Other finalists from our half of the state included The Landmark Bistro in Grundy Center, Northside Diner in Washington, Salsa Guy Cafe in Cedar Rapids, B52 Bar & Grill in Bennett, and Prairie Canary in Grinnell.

In honor of International Burger Day on May 28th, we asked Iowans on Facebook to share with us their favorite burgers in Eastern Iowa. I'm sure you've heard of some of the restaurants, but there may be a few on here that are new to you! Here are some of Eastern Iowa's favorite burgers:
