A Cowboy Bunkhouse Is Hidden In The Heart of Czech Village
Every Tuesday we head to the Czech Village for listener lunch. This month we're lucky enough to eat each week at 'Lucky's on 16th.' This past Tuesday after parking and walking toward the restaurant, I noticed a colorful doorway and a sign on one of the buildings.
What on earth was this 'Cowboy's Hideaway' and why was it tucked away in the heart of the Czech Village? After lunch, I went home and did some digging and discovered this quaint and unique Airbnb listing known as the Cowboy's Hideaway. It is described as a luxury bunkhouse overlooking the historic Czech Village neighborhood. And the inside is just as decorative as the front door!
The Airbnb listing notes that the bunkhouse is located right above an old-fashioned soda shop and candy store. The apartment has been completely remodeled with modern amenities, but the owners really tried to keep the original charm of a building built in the early 1900s. The living space features original wooden floors and exposed brick, as well as quartz countertops and a custom-tiled bathroom. And you'll really enjoy the western glam chandelier.
The Airbnb listing has room for six guests and features 2 bedrooms and 4 total beds if you count the coach which features a hideaway. There is even a laundry room if you stay for a week or longer. And you are close to all the great shops and restaurants that the Czech Village has to offer! The Cowboy Bunkhouse books for $152 a night and has a nearly perfect rating on Airbnb. It is a hidden gem I'm glad I stumbled upon!
