Governor Pritzker will introduce a plan on Monday that will have recreational marijuana legalized by 2020.

It's no secret that Illinois has been in a budget crisis (to say the least). For years, legalizing medicinal and recreational marijuana has looked like a viable solution for the state to start digging out of debt. Now, that plan is actually on the horizon. Illinois will be joining many other states in helping residents get the help they medicinally and/or recreationaly need.

According to KWQC.com,

This is welcoming news for the entire state. Governor Pritzker is estimating this will add at least $1 billion dollars to the state budget.

Illinois will join 10 other states where marijuana is fully legal. Those states are Washington, Colorado, California, Alaska, Nevada, Maine, Michigan, Oregon, Vermont and Massachusetts.
