Iowans Share Their Favorite Lambeau Moment
If you're a Packers fan who has never been to Green Bay for a football game, you should put it on your bucket list.
The town itself is pretty unimpressive, there's not much in Green Bay besides the Packers.
But a game at Lambeau is a truly memorable experience. I've had the pleasure of attending a couple games with my son when we lived in Madison.
On game day the stadium fills in slowly at first because fans tailgate in the parking lot and nearby bars.
Pretty soon the stands are filled and it's time for football.
My favorite memories are from the famous Snow Bowl on January 12, 2008 when the Packers beat the Seattle Seahawks for the NFC Division Championship.
It was Brett Favre's last victory as a Green Bay Packer and what a memorable game!
The Packers were down by 14 points early but roared back to take the lead. In the 3rd quarter a snow squall moved in and we couldn't even see the field. It lifted and the Packers won.
Tonight, these two teams meet again hoping to make it into the 2020 Super Bowl. After reliving these memories of 2008,we'll be cheering for another great game tonight from the Green Bay Packers!
