Iowans Reveal Their Favorite Video Games of All Time

I don't know about you, but I grew up absolutely OBSESSED with video games. My brother and I played them so much that my mom started limiting us to one hour a day. It was always devastating when that kitchen timer went off...

When it comes to gaming systems, I grew up on my PlayStation, Game Boy Color, PS2, and Nintendo 64. We played every Mario and Pokemon game known to man. Computer games were my specialty, though. I was the MASTER of Rollercoaster Tycoon and The Sims. Heck, I would still play those games today if my MacBook had enough space on it.

According to a survey from National Today, the top 5 most popular video franchises are:

1. Super Mario
2. Call of Duty
3. Donkey Kong
4. Grand Theft Auto
5. Pokemon

The survey also revealed that 31% of people play video games every day, with the most popular gaming console the PlayStation, followed by Xbox and Nintendo.
