According to the Des Moines Register, "A 30-year-old woman plead guilty to three drug-related charges last week after she was accused of trying to sneak a Pop Tart box with more than 7 grams of meth in it into the Clarida Correctional Facility."

The woman's name is Linda Lee Whitlatch. On August 13th, she dropped the drugs into a garbage on the prison property. Officers believed the drugs were intended to be received by an inmate at the prison.

The guards foiled the plan and the drugs were found. Now Whitlatch, who was on probation from a drug charge, has ended up in the Fresh Start Woman's Center in Polk County for an undetermined amount of time.
