A single-engine airplane crashed in Oskaloosa on Saturday afternoon. This news comes courtesy of a story published by KWWL. The crash killed the pilot, who's name has not been released at this time.

According to the KWWL story, "A preliminary investigation by authorities found the aircraft hit a power line, which then caused the plane to crash into the ground." The crash happened in the 2000 block of 210th Street in Oskaloosa.

Thankfully, nobody else was injured in the crash. The FAA will continue to investigate this incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the unknown pilot.
