Iowa Kids That Can Cook Wanted by ‘MasterChef Junior’ TV Show
Despite next month being the start of the eight season of MasterChef Junior on Fox-TV, there's never been a contestant from Iowa. It's time to change that.
The show, which stars Gordon Ramsay, wants kids from Iowa to apply to be on the show. Applying is simple. Here's how to do it:
- Pre-register your child HERE by filling out the form completely and uploading a photo of your child. *Note: Kids must be between 8 and 13 years of age.
- Create a two-minute video that shows your child's personality. Video submission instructions are available HERE.
- Print and complete THIS APPLICATION, which must be signed by both parents or guardians.
- Mail your child's application, photo, and video to:

Complete entry information is available HERE. You must have your applications in by February 10, so there's no time to waste! Producers for the show will follow-up with children who are in the running as the audition process continues.
MasterChef Junior, Season 8, will debut on Fox Tuesday, February 26, according to the Des Moines Register. Hopefully at least one youngster from Iowa will be competing for the grand prize and to be named MasterChef Junior!
