Iowa City Man Walks Into Tobacco Shop With A Machete
It sounds like the start of a joke but sadly, it's not.
According to CBS2, "An Iowa City man is being held on multiple charges after police say he took a machete knife into a tobacco liquor store."
Terrell Grant is the name of the dude who walked into Smokin' Joe's Tobacco & Liquor Outlet with an 8 inch machete. I can't make this stuff up, folks. He actually had it in his waistband under his shirt.
The 33-year old man was previously banned from the store and was breaking the rules just by entering. When the clerk told him to get out, he showed the giant knife that was in his waistband.
The cops were called and Grant was arrested. Besides the knife, he also had a pipe in his possession and admitted to smoking some meth earlier in the day. I mean, why not?
Grant is now behind bars at the Johnson County Jail. He can leave once he posts a $5,000 bond.
No word on what will happen with the machete.
