Illinois Cannabis Cup Winners Announced

The winners announced for the Cannabis Cup in Illinois.

This is kind of a good news-bad news scenario with the good far outweighing the bad.

First, the good news. Recreational marijuana is legal in Illinois so that makes the state eligible to host a Cannabis Cup competition to find out the best weed from the Land of Lincoln.

Now, the bad news. Since we're in the middle of a pandemic, there was no fanfare. Unlike years past, the festival was canceled and everything was done virtually.

Don't worry, there's always next year but in the meantime, there are still winners to be congratulated. Pot lovers in Illinois were asked to participate and here's how it went. Check out the People's Choice 2020 champions.
