If You Could Go Out Tonight, Where Would You Go?

Well, another weekend here in Eastern Iowa with nothing to do. I don't know about you, but I'm getting some extreme cabin fever. I sure hope this all ends very soon.

Everything is closed now until at least April 7. That date could change if this thing gets any worse. Let's all cross our fingers and hope for the best, because after all, that's all we can really do at this point.

So, If you could go out tonight, where would go?

For me, I miss the dive bars. If I could anywhere right now, it would be the Westside Lounge on SW side of Cedar Rapids. I miss their store bought frozen pizza, the 99-cent beef jerky sticks, the apple tree growing through the concrete in the back and the fact that it's a cash only bar.

It's funny how we take the little things for granted in life. When this is all over, I think we will all have a new found respect for those "little things."
