As the Powerball jackpot grows, the Iowa Lottery is still hoping someone will come forward with a ticket from an April drawing. That ticket is worth $1 million and was sold at a Casey's in Nevada. Six months later, the lottery hasn't heard from the person that bought that ticket.

Wednesday night's Powerball drawing didn't have a winner, meaning the jackpot grows even more for this weekend. The Saturday night Powerball drawing will be for $750 million! That's one of the largest Powerball drawings in history... the record was $1.586 billion in January of 2016.

Wednesday night's numbers were 3, 21, 45, 53, and 56. The Powerball was 22.

The huge Powerball jackpot comes on the heels of one lucky winner in South Carolina claiming the $1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot Tuesday night. However, we might never know who that person is. South Carolina law doesn't require the winner to be revealed. That would be a bummer. We all need to see the person we feel so envious of.

The Hawkeye State did have four winners Tuesday night. A $1 million ticket was sold in Davenport. That winner has not yet been announced. Four others won $10,000, including Dana Derby of Marion who claimed a check yesterday.
