Hy-Vee To Pair With First Responders For Easter Ham Giveaway

This Tuesday, April 12, local first responders and Hy-Vee employees will team up to give away a limited supply of free hams for Easter, and yes, it will be after working hours for most.
Iowa's News Now says the giveaway will begin at 5 p.m. at Veteran's Memorial Stadium, 950 Rockford Rd. SW, with first-come, first-served Hormel Cure 81 hams available.

Please enter the stadium from 15th St SW, where you will then be directed to the parking lot, and exit from 8th St. While the event starts at 5, if you can try to sneak out of work early to get there, you might want to. It will last until 7 or until all the hams are gone.
This location is part of a company-wide giveaway Hy-Vee is offering across 19 locations in 10 states. KWQC says Davenport will have their ham giveaway tonight, Monday, April 11, also from 5-7 p.m. at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds.
