We have some scary news out of the "Key City" of Dubuque.

According to CBS2, "Dubuque County authorities responded to a house fire in the 4000 block of Hilken Hill Road.

The incident happened on Saturday, December 7th. Fire crews were called to the home of Margaret Hoffman. When firefighters arrived the fire was already out but Hoffman had breathed in some smoke.

Hoffman was taken to the hospital because of her breathing issues. She is doing fine now but her home sustained several thousand dollars of damage. The fire is still under investigation.
