Hiawatha Music in The Park Lineup Announced

Uptown Friday Nights, Marion By Moonlight and Marion Uptown Getdown are just a few of the metro area's top summer concert series to get you revved up for summer.

Don't leave Hiawatha out of your plans, as every Friday night in August they bring live, local music FREE to Guthridge Park. It's a go-to every summer for us Hiawathans as well as those who enjoy local music from Cedar Rapids metro area.

They have recently announced their fantastic lineup for the season and we can't wait!

• August 7: Compass Rose (classic country)
• August 14: The Bamboozlers (music variety)
• August 21: New Trick (classic rock)
• August 28: Robby Vee and Caravan

The concerts are generally set up on the 10th Ave. side of Guthridge Park. Come early and bring a lawn chair or blanket. Concessions for a nominal fee, with proceeds helping local programs will be served starting at 5:45 p.m., and the music kicks off at 6 p.m.
