Kids battling through cancer have to grow up quick. They have to miss out on some of the things that being a kid is all about. But you can help kids with cancer do something all children love to do. Have fun a summer camp!

Children's Cancer Connection is an organization that helps kids and families through the ordeal of being treated for cancer. Formed in 2010, the group provides help and support for families through each stage of their journey. One of those ways is through their summer camps. Each year CCC hosts two camps. A week-long Oncology Camp is the only one of it's kind in Iowa. It is only for kids who have been diagnosed with cancer. They also offer a week-long Sibling Camp.

This Thursday night, you can help send kids with cancer to this amazing camp. 'Camping The Night Away' is a fundraiser being held at A Touch Of Class on Mt. Vernon Road in Cedar Rapids. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to around 9 p.m. It will feature drinks, hors-d'oeuvres, a silent auction, and more. Also, we hear the emcee that night is fantastic!
