Group Of Iowans Featured On ‘Ellen’s Game of Games’
To be on an 'Ellen' show is a dream for a lot of people, and a group of north Iowans were lucky enough to get the opportunity.
The Courier reports that a group of northern Iowa women by the names of Diane Arndt, Cindy Lipp, Nancy Lund, Kim Rosenbaum and Kathy Young played “Say Whaat!?” during 'Ellen's Game Of Games' finale. If you're not familiar, the show has "contestants compete in supersized versions of the most popular and action-packed games from Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show." The game "Say Whaat!?" is where teams try to relay a message down the line just by reading each other's lips (while wearing giant ear headphones). The example below shows the how the game is played (it is not the game that Iowans are featured in.)
Arndt, a hairdresser from Mason City, and her Iowa gal pals tried their best to relay the message "Be honest with me, would I look cute in a hot halter-top?". Sadly, they did not score any points and did not advance in the game. But, it was hilarious and very entertaining to watch them try. If you haven't seen it, check it out HERE. The clip of the Iowans playing "Say Whaat!?" is shown about 45 seconds into the video.
You can see photos of the fun bunch competing together in The Courier article.
