Florida Man Arrested After Sitting on Woman to Use Gym Equipment
A Florida Man was arrested on Thanksgiving after an incident at a local gym that led to an altercation with a pair of sisters over some gym equipment.
According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, the two sisters were using an exercise machine at a Clearwater fitness center while the Florida Man, identified by officials as 78-year-old Robert Edward Dvorak, was waiting rather impatiently for his turn on the machine.
Authorities say the man apparently was done waiting, so he sat on one of the women to use the machine instead.
The woman's sister told Robert Edward Dvorak to get off of her sister, but Dvorak shoved the woman away.
Deputies say Dvorak admitted that he was the one who pushed the woman, and multiple witnesses fingered him as the aggressor.
He now is facing charges for simple battery.
