Video has surfaced of firefighters battling a blaze at a fireworks factory in Russia, when the fire set off a chain of fireworks stock that blew up into the sky.

The fire took place in Rostov-on-Don, in southern Russia, early Sunday morning. Nearly 400 firefighters were part of the response to the fire, who all came from three different fire crews.

A faulty electric heater is thought to be the blame for the fire. Once it began to spread, the fire reached a second floor pavilion, which was fully stocked for New Years Eve celebrations.
