Festival Events, Fairs, and Concerts -- Iowa Weekend Events

It's hard to believe, but we have arrived at the final weekend in June! With the 4th of July coming up next week, there are some great summer events happening here in Eastern Iowa this weekend. Here are some of the highlights this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday:

Jump for Freedom - Dock Dogs (Freedom Festival Event)
- National Czech and Slovak Museum & Library in Cedar Rapids
- June 28th, 29th, & 30th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- "DockDogs is a series of competitive dog jumping events held across the nation each year. Comprised of three aquatic events; big air, extreme vertical and speed retrieval, the competition provides entertainment for both human and canine"

- "It's been 50 years since Woodstock was first held back in 1969 so come join us for MILLSTOCK in celebration of those past 50 years! We'll be hosting this 3-day music festival behind Millstream Brewery and the Brau Haus. Tent camping is encouraged on the MILLSTOCK grounds and the Amana RV Park is offering special discounts at their facility. Of course, tie-dye attire and a fun time are required for the weekend!"
