If you're preparing to fill up your gas tank for some Thanksgiving week travels, you'll notice the price of gas continues to fall. The national average for a gallon of gas has fallen to $2.14, down 9.5 cents from one month ago.

The average price in Iowa has fallen to $2.07 per gallon, down 13 cents from one month ago. Why the decline? According to AAA, there is a high supply of crude oil in the global market, which is helping to lower prices.

The national average for gasoline last Thanksgiving was around $2.20 per gallon.
