You can now have a confidential conversation between parties on Facebook Messenger thanks to a new feature called 'Secret Conversation'. In fact, Facebook and the government won't even have access to these secret messages.

Facebook's over 1 billion users now have access to the feature. Messages will only be sent to whatever device was used to start the conversation or the first to respond to the message. If you're chatting on your phone, you won't even be able to see those messages on your desktop computer.

Another feature, much like Snapchat, allows you to choose when you want the messages to disappear. The option for 'Secret Conversation' pops up whenever you start a new conversation on messenger. Both users have to have the latest IOS or Andriod update.
