We have another big Eastern Iowa winner and he kind of has a really cool name.

I'm not going to lie, I check the Iowa Lottery winners page probably a little too much and thought to myself the other day, "Dang, it's been a hot minute since anyone on our side of the state has won. What's the big deal?!"

Maybe my internal complaints brought the fella some good luck. I wish it was good luck for me but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

The last time we had a big winner in the Quad Cities was when a man from Davenport almost tossed away a $10,000 lottery ticket. Jordan Miller bought a Mega Millions lottery ticket when the jackpot reached $1 billion. He won $10,000 but almost threw that ticket away before checking to see if it was a winner.
