The Cyclones released their football depth chart today. Paul Rhoads hopes to add some depth to the win category in 2015. After a nice start to his career in Ames, Coach Rhodes has had some major struggles of late.

The upcoming season will be his seventh at the school. He led the Clones to bowl games in three of his first four years. Since then, it's been a bit of a train wreck. ISU has won only five games in the last two seasons, including a winless conference season last year.

Sam Richardson is listed as the #1 QB in today's depth chart. Whether Sam has any on-field support is another question.

After hitting rock bottom last year, things can only go up from here. Rhoads' job depends upon it. Even though the Nevada, Iowa native came onboard and got the job done at Jack Trice, we have short memories in the sporting world.

Quentin Bundrage, one of the bright spots last year will be in blue this spring. The wideout led Iowa State in several offensive categories and Coach Rhoads wants to protect him. Anyone in a blue jersey won't be hit at all in practice. The Spring Game is April 11, and the Cyclones open the season at home against their two in-state rivals: Sept. 5 against UNI. The Iowa/Iowa State game is a week later.

Yes, the pressure cooker is at 11 for Paul Rhoads. He needs a comeback season or he'll go the way of another coach in the state a couple years back. Todd Lickliter. He resigned last week.

If I were Lickliter, I'd enjoy the golf course and the savings account for a couple of years. Rhoads hopes to avoid such a horrible, cash-infused fate.
