If you're looking for a job, you might want to to consider Costco.

Costco just announced that they're going to be increasing their minimum wage. This announcement comes right along with President BIden's minimum wage promise to increase the minimum wage to $15 per hour by 2025. Costco however is wasting no time increasing their pay.

This Costco announcement comes after Walmart just increased their hourly wage to $15 an hour recently.  Costco is raising the minimum wage for its hourly staff to $16, a dollar more than what its competitors Amazon.com Inc and Target Corp and now Walmart pay per hour.

Costco's Chief Executive Officer made the announcement and said -

It takes a lot of time to interview, find employees, lot of labor involved just trying to hire individuals. We want people to stay with us.

That's not all Costco is doing to help their employees during the pandemic. The company also offered premium pay to workers during the virus outbreak. And Costco didn't actually suffer that much during the pandemic. With customers intensely stocking up on their pantries, the company actually saw sales boom last year.

Grocery shopping was one of the only things that remained a life staple for a while last year. And when you need to stock up on something, is there any better place to go than Costco? I know personally me and my boyfriend went to by a ton of toilet paper and paper towels, just like every other human in the world.
