Mini golf season has arrived in Cedar Rapids! Two miniature golf courses in the city have officially opened: Mini Pines and Waterfall National.

According to the Cedar Rapids city website, Mini Pines an "18-hole, fully inclusive miniature golf course" that's located right next to the Twin Pines Golf Course on 42nd Street NE. The course contains a nine-foot waterfall, four holes that involve water play, designated photo spots, and a 'Party Pad' that can be reserved for three-hour time slots. The course is also lighted, so mini golfers can play at night.

As of right now, Mini Pines is open daily from 10 a.m. to dusk, but the hours will change starting the weekend before Memorial Day. During the summer, the course is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday & Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The cost is $8 for ages 19 to 61, $7 for seniors, $6 for students, and $ for ages 0 to 4.

Cedar Rapids is also home to the Waterfall National Miniature Golf Course at the Airport National Public Golf Complex on Wright Brothers Blvd. They are open for the season, as well, with their current daily hours listed as 9 a.m. to dusk. Waterfall National has something called the "Mischief Spinner," where guests can spin a wheel and attempt fun challenges while they play!

The cost to play mini golf at Waterfall National is $7 for ages 18+, $6 for seniors, $5 for ages 4 to 17, and $2 for ages 3 and under. You can get more information on their website HERE.
