Cedar Rapids Man To Appear On “Chicago PD”

Ricky Bartlett of Cedar Rapids is set to appear on national television Wednesday night.

It's NBC's big "crossover night" starting at 7 p.m. Three of their biggest series are set in Chicago. "Chicago Fire", Chicago Med" and "Chicago P.D."., all chronicling and dramatizing the lives and dangers faced by of the respective heroes they are named after.

Bartlett is set to play a security guard on the crossover episode, which NBC's website says will involve a "manhunt for a bioterrorism suspect". P.S., if you don't know,  Bartlett is an amputee, having lost his leg to illness. We can't wait to see his character and cheer for him. He will do great! In fact, a second Cedar Rapids man named Johann Daley (who I went to school with at Kennedy) will be a background star as well.

We don't know much more about the episode, but that's why you'll want to tune in Wednesday night, as will we.
