Eastern Iowa Trick-or-Treat Times
While the city of Cedar Rapids does not have designated trick-or-treat times for Halloween, Tuesday October 31, other surrounding communities do. KCRG recently published this list that you can find at their website. All hours are for Wednesday, October 31 unless otherwise noted. They include:
- Anamosa: 5:30-dusk
- Asbury: 5:30 p.m.-Dusk.
- Coralville: 5:30-8 p.m.
- Dike: 5:30-7:30
- Dubuque: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- Iowa City: "dusk" until 7:30
- Mt. Vernon 5-8 p.m.
- Cedar Falls: 6-8 p.m.
- Waterloo: 6-7:30 p.m.

- Marion: beginning at dusk
- Hiawatha: beginning at dusk

- Hills: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
- Lone Tree: 6-8 p.m.
- Oxford: 6-8 p.m.
- Palo: 4:30-8 p.m.
- Prairieburg: No set hours
- Robins: Dusk-8 p.m.
- Tiffin: 5-7 p.m.
- University Heights: 6-8 p.m.
- Walker: 5:30-7:30 p.m with firefighters handing out treats at Rowley and Ely Streets
Although the city of Cedar Rapids does not have set trick-or-treat hours, it is suggested to begin your trick-or-treating at dusk as most communities do.
