How To Find Tickets to Watch Caitlin Clark Make History
Many of you are probably reading the title of this piece and saying, "Wait...aren't Iowa women's basketball home games sold out?" The quick answer is, yes...yes they are. You can not call the University of Iowa and get a single ticket to see Caitlin Clark and Iowa host Michigan on Thursday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. But that doesn't mean you can't find tickets somewhere else. But be warned: the prices will make you suffer from sticker shock!
When Caitlin Clark had 31 points through three quarters of play on Sunday at Nebraska, many Iowa fans, including yours truly, thought the record would fall on the road. But the Cornhuskers had different ideas, holding Clark scoreless in the 4th quarter for the first time in her Iowa career. Iowa will look to bounce back from the tough loss at home against Michigan on Thursday night. Clark sits just 8 points away from breaking the all-time scoring record in women's college basketball. Want to be there to see it in person? The secondary ticket market is waiting for you! But get ready to pay!
Let's start with Vivid Seats. I saw tickets as low as $241 and going as high as courtside behind the Iowa bench for over $5,000. Depending on the section, you could still get seats together.
Up next, I checked out Seat Geek. Once again, I was able to find tickets in the $251 range with courtside seats still going for for over $3,700.
At Stub Hub, tickets are nearly gone. Single tickets started at around $400 and single tickets as high as $1500 were also available. Tough to find seats together on this site.
Ticketmaster has verified resale tickets for sale too. Once again, I was able to find tickets for as cheap as $390 and all the way up to just over $4,000.
My suggestion? Pay the affordable price of $5.99 for a Peacock subscription and watch at home on Thursday night as Caitlin Clark makes college basketball history! Trust me, it'll be the best six dollars you've ever spent. LET'S GO HAWKS!
