Now Hawkeye superstar Caitlin Clark is getting a crack at some fun partnerships.
You've heard of Batman and Robin...
Thelma and Louise...
Heck! You might've even called yourself and your bestie Bonnie and Clyde...
Now there's a new duo that everyone in Iowa will be talking about. Caitlin and Jake...
That's right, Caitlin Clark and Jake from State Farm.
Or as they refer to themselves; Cake.
Hawkeye basketball superstar Caitlin Clark is partnering up with State Farm for a historical NIL (name, image, and likeness) deal. She is the first college athlete to secure this sort of deal with the company.
She joins Patrick Mahomes and Chris Paul as athletic endorsers of State Farm.
So far, she's been a part of a promotional video featuring the iconic Jake from State Farm, where she was asked rapid fire questions.
The athlete and the insurance company shared corresponding images together. Clark is even holding the iconic pair of khaki pants.
"State Farm is a team that looks out for others, which is exactly the kind of legacy I want to leave beyond the basketball court," Clark said in a statement.
"I'm honored to be the first college athlete to join the Good Neighbor team—in khakis of course and look forward to growing the women's game together."
According to reports, her NIL valuation is estimated to be at about $752,000 for all of her deals.
The star player already has partnerships with Midwest grocery store giant Hy-Vee and Nike.
