Caitlin Clark Will Join David Letterman at College Lecture

Just a couple of Midwest superstars hanging out at college. You'd be hard-pressed right now to find a more recognizable celebrity from the state of Iowa than Caitlin Clark. And David Letterman has long been one of Indiana's most famous Hoosiers. The two will meet on a college campus later this year.

CBS2 reports that Clark will join Letterman at his alma mater, Ball State University, for a public interview on December 2nd at Emens Auditorium in Muncie, Indiana. The event is part of Letterman's distinguished professional lecture and workshop series which was created in 2008. Ball State University President Geoffrey S. Mearns pointed out that Letterman is a native Hoosier and Clark has quickly become a beloved star in the Hoosier state playing for the Indiana Fever of the WNBA. CBS2 reports that Mearns stated that the school was "honored to host them."

Letterman and Clark have already met this year. CBS2 reports that in August, Letterman attended an Indiana Fever game in Indianapolis to cheer on Clark and the Fever. He later shared the above photo of the two after the game.
