As most of you know, our radio stations are located in downtown Cedar Rapids. We're lucky to have such a great view and I often catch myself gazing out at the "City of Five Seasons" in all its glory.

Today something was different and it really caught my eye. It took me a minute, but I finally saw it. When my brain figured it out and I realized what I seeing, I instantly got a chill.

The word "HOPE" is spelled out on the side of the DoubleTree Hotel. It looks like the staff really worked hard on this project and it looks awesome! I had to call my co-worker Bob over to check it out.

He said, "Wow, that's so cool! I wonder how long it took them to figure that all out?" I was thinking the same thing. I'm guessing someone had to be on the ground and several people in the rooms above.

I just wonder how many people were involved and how long it took? This project had to be properly planned out and I'm sure there was a little trial and error. Either way, whoever is responsible for this did a great job.

This is one of the coolest things I've seen recently and it really made me feel good. If we can stay positive, pray and have HOPE, we will get though this.

Kudos to the folks at the DoubleTree in downtown Cedar Rapids.

You did a good thing here.
