
Another Corridor Restaurant Has Closed Its Doors
An Iowa original has one less location. The Pizza Ranch in Marion has closed its doors, much to the surprise of customers. We heard from several different listeners over the 4th of July holiday that they went to the Marion location, only to find out the doors had been shuttered.
Dan Reed first shared the news with us. He went Tuesday, July 3. As you can see, the sign in the parking lot indicated nothing out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, on this Tuesday night, no one was eating at the Marion Pizza Ranch at 1055 Linden Drive.
The sign on the front door of the business broke the bad news to those who approached.
It was just last week that a Cedar Rapids restaurant posted a similar sign on their front door. The Pizza Ranch website shows "Closed" as Location Hours for each day of the week.
The 37-year-old Pizza Ranch chain, first started in Hull, Iowa in 1981, now has locations in 13 states. In the Cedar Rapids metro, only the 2450 Westdale Dr. SW location remains open. Thank goodness you still have a spot to get that great buffett, to-die-for Cactus Bread, pizza, chicken...
