As services for fire Lt. Eric Hosette of Clinton take place in that community this weekend, we are reminded not to forget about another man who survived the explosion at the ADM plant, but is currently fighting for his life.

CBS2 recently spoke with Kevin Cain, the father of Adam Cain, who was working alongside his heroic "brother", Lt. Hosette.

Cain asks us all to pray for his son. He told CBS2, "the first release on Adam's condition may have led everyone to believe that he was about to walk out the door in the next few days. That could not be farther from the truth."

At this writing, Adam Cain was in crticial condition, while his partner is to be buried on Saturday, January 12.

A full statement on Adam's condition and what his father is asking of everyone who reads it, can be found at this link.

We send our condolences to the Cain and Hosette families, and the community of Clinton, as they struggle with the suffering and loss of two of their community's finest young men.
