Alice Cooper Rocks Moline [PHOTOS]
I hope when I'm 70-years-old, I can do half the things that Alice Cooper can do. The guy is almost a scratch golfer, he works out every other day, and he still puts on one hell of a rock show!
His latest tour stop was Tuesday night in Moline, Illinois. Alice and his band gave the fans a two hour plus concert packed with all of the hits and some killer deep cuts. I've seen Alice a number of times over the last few years, and I have to say: This is the BEST band I've ever seen him tour with!
He opened the night with Brutal Plant and went right into No More Mr. Nice Guy. I mean, wow, what a way to open the show! Other hits included Under My Wheels, Billion Dollar Babies, Poison and Only Women Bleed.
Alice also sprinkled in some songs that weren't necessarily huge hits. I loved Halo of Flies and the band was spot on with Lost in America. Nita Strauss performed an awesome guitar solo about half way through the show. Nobody was leaving for another beer until after she was done!
The stage was super cool with all of the normal Alice Cooper props and murder weapons. For a senior citizen, he moved around pretty well and his voice was spot on. There was only one song to end the night with....Schools Out! The place went bonkers as Alice performed arguably one of his biggest hits.
It was a great night and I'm glad I was there. You know, we all grow old. That a fact of life. But Alice Cooper is living proof that your only as old as you feel....and he's obviously feeling pretty good.
