Adventureland is Hosting a 21+ Oktoberfest Next Month

If you've ever wanted to spend the day at Adventureland without any kids, here's your chance! The Iowa amusement park will host their annual Oktoberfest celebration in just a few weeks!

There are plenty of Oktoberfest celebrations happening across the state of Iowa this fall, but there's only one that includes riding rollercoasters! The 9th annual Adventureland Oktoberfest will be happening on Saturday, September 16th beginning at 11 a.m.

One of the cool things about Adventureland Oktoberfest is the abundance of live entertainment on various stages throughout the park. Acts on this year's schedule include:

• The Pork Tornadoes
• Mallrats
• Not Quite Brothers
• The Outlaws
• Pianopalooza
• Tyler Richton & The High Bank Boys
• Comedian Dante Powell

In addition to the entertainment, guests can also enjoy games, competitions, food, and plenty of beer! There are beverage stands set up all over the park. Oh, and don't forget about the rides! Many of them will be open during Oktoberfest, as long as the weather cooperates.

Adventureland Oktoberfest is a 21+ event and tickets are currently $39.99 per person. If you are a platinum or gold passholder, you can get into the park for free. Tickets can be purchased online HERE.

I've been to three Oktoberfests at Adventureland and had a blast at each of them! It's been a few years since my last visit, but I'm looking forward to heading back in a few weeks. Prost!
