A Very Cheesy Event is Coming to Iowa

As we await to learn the fate of our own dreamed-up Macaroni & Cheese Festival in Iowa, another event will have to tide us over.

Living History Farms in Urbandale presents the "Festival of Cheese". The Facebook event page describes it as follows. "Gather your friends and explore local food and beverage specialties made from Iowa agricultural products. Enjoy chatting with cheesemongers, and other local food experts about their crafts, while tasting their wares in a casual atmosphere. New this year, Festival of Cheese will be a VIP Tasting Event during our Food & Farm Festival."

Tickets, costing $10 apiece are required and quantities are limited for the VIP tasting events. They are now on sale through April 26 at noon or while supplies last and you must be 21+ with a valid ID. So, learn more here and take part in one of the cheesiest events in Iowa this spring!
