Live entertainment continues its comeback as Iowa starts to get vaccinated.

Although he won't be able to make the pandemic disappear, "he’s changing reality one city at a time and Cedar Rapids is next!" It's been announced that magician Bill Blagg will be back to perform some hocus-pocus in Cedar Rapids in just a few weeks.

"The Magic of Bill Blagg" is a revamped show with new illusions, according to a press release, that USA Today calls "unbelievable" and the Chicago Tribune says is "absolutely incredible!" Blagg comes to the Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30, and face coverings are required at all times, unless actively eating or drinking.

Tickets are now on sale through the Paramount website and box office and as is the case with most shows right now, they are being sold in pods of 2 to 5 seats. Pods will be spaced at least 6 feet apart. The website says "you must purchase all tickets within a selected pod. We reserve the right to move patrons who do not purchase all tickets within a selected pod", so click here to choose your seats wisely.

You're also encouraged to thoroughly read the "Return To Live" plan for safety and health information prior to attending this and any other Cedar Rapids VenuWorks event.

Your chance to win up to $10,000 doesn't require any tricks or illusions. Simply download our mobile app to your smartphone today and starting next Monday, April 5, listen for code words during the "Workday Payday" for your chance to win.
