Just last week, I told you about this AMAZING vintage market I went to in Tipton. It's called the Good Makers Market and it's held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, over at the Cedar County Fairgrounds. Unfortunately, you missed this year's events, but there is some good news! Another vintage market is set to happen right here in Cedar Rapids this month!

According to their website, "Vintage Market Days is an upscale vintage-inspired indoor/outdoor market featuring original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, outdoor furnishings, consumable yummies, seasonal plantings and a little more." The unique event will take place at Hawkeye Downs Expo Center in Cedar Rapids September 24th through September 26th. Friday and Saturday the event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday it goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission into the event is $10 for a pre-purchased three-day pass, $10 for Saturday & Sunday, and $5 for Sunday only. Kids 12 and under are free. You can purchase your tickets in advance HERE. You can check out the latest updates on the Vintage Market Days of Eastern Iowa Facebook page HERE.

If you love fall markets, don't forget that there are still a few Downtown Cedar Rapids Farmers Markets left this season! There's one this Saturday, September 18th, the Market After Dark is on September 25th from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., and the first "fall-focused" October market on October 2nd. You can get more details on all three of the remaining dates on the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance website HERE.

LOOK: Stunning vintage photos capture the beauty of America's national parks

Today these parks are located throughout the country in 25 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The land encompassing them was either purchased or donated, though much of it had been inhabited by native people for thousands of years before the founding of the United States. These areas are protected and revered as educational resources about the natural world, and as spaces for exploration.
