A Music Star is Opening Two Corn Mazes in Iowa This Month
Over 40 farms across the U.S. will be debuting new corn mazes that feature the one and only Reba McEntire!
According to a new article from Music Mayhem, Reba has partnered with The MAiZE Inc. to create corn mazes in 24 different states that are designed in her honor. The project is in support of her new book Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots, which is set to be released on October 10th.
So... why corn mazes? Reba said:
"While l admit being in a corn maze is one of the more unique things I’ve ever been invited to be a part of, I couldn’t be more excited to be involved with some of the things that matter most to me — farming, family, and friends. Growing up on a ranch in Oklahoma, I know how important agriculture is, and I love being involved with something that brings more people out to farms across the country for good wholesome fun!”
There are two corn mazes located here in the state of Iowa. One is at Pride of the Wapsi in Long Grove, and the other is at Center Grove Orchard in Cambridge. The one in Long Grove features the quote "Raised on Reba," while the one in Cambridge is designed to look like her face! You can check out all the different corn maze designs HERE.
Pride of the Wapsi is located at 14600 305th Street in Long Grove and opens for the season on September 30th. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
Center Grove Orchard is located at 32835 610th Avenue in Cambridge and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
