45 years ago today, KISS released their first live record, "Alive!"

The double-album was recorded at concerts in 1975 that occurred in Michigan, Ohio, New Jersey, and DAVENPORT.

The Iowa concert date was July 20, 1975, at the Orpheum Theatre (now known as 'Adler Theatre). KISS performed TWO concerts that night at Orpheum Theatre.

Alive! peaked at #9 on the Billboard 200 and charted for 110 weeks. It has sold over one million copies.

On the last song on the album, “LET ME GO ROCK AND ROLL” you can hear Gene Simmons say, "C'mon Quad Cities!”
