Rock Band Announced to Replace Canceled Act at Jones County Fair
Earlier this week we brought you the news that country band Lady A dropped out of the Great Jones County Fair for their show scheduled for this Saturday, July 23. As big a bummer as it can be when a band you're excited to see cancels, it opens the door for a different act to jump in and put on a great show.
Today we can tell you the band poised to do just that are rockers 3 Doors Down. Tickets can be purchased for the show here, and track tickets are only $40.
A band from Mississippi, 3 Doors Down has been rocking since the mid-1990s, the guys will bring a huge catalog of hits to the fair, including their radio smash hits "Kryptonite" and "Here Without You."
Still fronted by their original lead singer Brad Arnold, anyone who grabs tickets to this show will get the full 3 Doors Down experience.
The opening act will still be Uncle Kracker who was previously announced, and anyone who purchased tickets for the Lady A concert will automatically be refunded.
Fun fact: "Kryptonite" was written by Arnold when he was just 15 during a math class.
The Great Jones County Fair is located in Monticello. The cancelation of the Lady A show came earlier this week from the Jones County Fair:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the July 23rd Lady A performance at the Great Jones County Fair has been canceled. Uncle Kracker is still scheduled to perform and we are currently working on a replacement act for Lady A at this time and current tickets will still be valid for that concert.
We now know the replacement act is 3 Doors Down - you can purchase tickets for this show now.
